Assault in Glenfield

Assault in Glenfield
Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Glenfield.
The incident happened between 8.05pm and 8.55pm on Wednesday, May 6 when the 14 year-old victim was walking down an alleyway off Ashleigh Court with a friend.
The victim was approached by three youths who assaulted him, before running off.
He sustained minor injuries to his face and received hospital treatment.
The suspects are all described as being around 15-years-old and were wearing hooded tops. One described as wearing a white Ecko top. Another one had a blue baseball cap.
PC Stuart Ormerod, who is investigating the incident said: “This incident has left the victim distressed. We would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Ashleigh Court at the time of the incident to get in touch with us. Maybe you were driving through the area, or were out for a walk?
“Did you see a group of three youths hanging round the area? If you saw anything at all please let us know.”
