Officers from Market Harborough local policing unit are appealing for information following a burglary.

The first incident happened at around 3.30am on Friday May 15, 2009 when a property on Great Bowden Road was broken into through a ground floor window.

A large quantity of gold jewellery was stolen including earrings, bangles, rings and brooches.

PC Claire Murray, from Market Harborough local policing unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen some suspicious activity that could be linked to this incident.

"Do you have any information about the burglary or you may have been offered any jewellery at cut prices or know someone who is selling them off cheaply. If so, I would urge you to make contact."
