Police in the north of Leicester are appealing for witnesses following the report of indecent exposure in Mountsorrel.

The incident happened at around 4pm on Wednesday, May 27, when a woman who was running along Kinchley Lane saw a man in his car indecently exposing himself.

The car was parked at the side of the road and the driver’s door was open.

The car is thought to be a Renault and was seen driving very fast along Kinchley Lane prior to the incident.

A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Constable Maria Pancholi, the officer investigating the incident, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and can remember seeing a car parked at the side of the road with someone behaving suspiciously inside.

“Do you know the man in the car? Did you see him indecently expose himself too? Any information you have could help us with our investigation and we are appealing to these people to help us with our investigation.”
