Community Services
Do you need to find out more about buying products or services on the Internet, how to deal with rogue traders or your rights as a consumer?
'Consumer Affairs' is a Leicestershire County Council Trading Standards publication which has up to date news about purchasing products and services and being aware of matters that could affect you as a consumer. The Consumer Affairs leaflet, produced in association with Consumer Direct, is published 3 times a year and can be picked up from County libraries, service shops and police stations.
Alternatively, visit www.leics.gov.uk/tradingstandards where you will also find all previous editions of Consumer Affairs.
You can even subscribe to receive your own copy by emailing cscssmarketing@leics.gov.uk stating whether you would like to receive the publication via email or post.
If you need advice or information for something that you’ve bought or work you have had done, contact Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06.
For media enquiries, please contact the Press Office on (0116) 305 6274.
