As the Anne Frank [ + you} exhibition launches at Snibston Discovery Museum this week, it coincides with the 80th anniversary year of Anne Frank’s birth. Snibston wish to find any students who share the same birth date as Anne Frank, who would have been 80 years old on the 12th June 2009.
If you know of any student or adult, who has their birthday on the 12th June, Snibston Discovery Museum would love to hear from you. Contact the marketing team on 01530 278444 or email Snibston@leics.gov.uk before next week.
To remember the extraordinary story of Anne Frank and to introduce it to a new generation this fascinating exhibition runs in the Community Gallery until 30 June.
This special exhibition is officially opened on Monday 8th June 2009 at 12 noon, with the guest appearance of Gillian Walnes, Executive Director of the Anne Frank Trust UK and Professor Martin Stern, a survivor of the Holocaust years.
Notes to editors
The Anne Frank Trust UK is the British partner organisation of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
