Police are appealing for witnesses after a car wasdamaged in New Parks.

The incident took place on Friday May 29, 2009 when the victim parked his grey Rover 45 on Sharman Crescent at 7.15pm.

At around 9.20pm, he heard a noise outside and saw three youths at his car. He went out to investigate discovering the youths had left and his front passenger window had been smashed.

Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

One of the youths is described as white, in his mid teens and was wearing a white t-shirt and red baseball cap.

PC Matt Fletcher, who is investigating the incident, said: "We would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or saw the direction the youths took to please get in touch.

"If you were in Sharman Crescent on Friday evening and have any information which could be in connection with this crime, please contact us urgently if you think you can help.
