Burglary in Whestone
Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a burglary on Burnham Drive in Whetstone.
The incident happened between 10.30pm on Friday June 5 and 8am on Saturday June 6, when the victim discovered the door to the garage at his property was open and damaged.
Upon further investigation he found that three motorcross bikes had been stolen.
It is believed that the suspects gained entry by twisting the garage door open.
One of the bikes is a black, Honda, CRF- 150. It has the number 34 on both sides and at the back and front of it.
The second bike is an orange, KTM, 300 EXE and the third bike is a green, Kawasaki KX65.
PC Nick Taylor, the officer investigating the incident, said: “We are appealing to the public in the hope that someone will contact us with information that could help with our investigation.
“If you was in the area between the hours stated and can remember seeing anyone in the area who was acting suspiciously, then we want to hear from you.
“It is possible that the suspects will try and sell the bikes, so if you are approached by anyone who is trying to sell a bike matching the descriptions given then we want you to call us.
“Any information you have on those responsible or the whereabouts of the bikes, we want to hear, no matter how insignificant it may seem.”
