Officers in Melton are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged on Doctors Lane.

The incident happened between 8pm and midnight on Saturday June 6, when the suspect scratched the silver Vauxhall, Astra on body panels on both sides and the bonnet.

The victim discovered the damage the following morning.

PC Pete Starbuck, the officer investigating the incident said: “We are appealing to anyone who was on Doctors Lane on Saturday evening and who may have information regarding the incident to contact us.

“Can you remember seeing anyone acting suspicious in the area?  Do you know those responsible? Any information you have we want to hear, no matter how insignificant it may seem.”
