Police are appealing for witnesses after a charity box was stolen from a store in Narborough.

The incident happened at the store on Leicester Road, at around 2.40pm on Tuesday, June 9.

A man entered the shop and stole a charity box off the counter.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 17 and 19-years-old, of slim build with spiky hair, a spotty complexion and clean shaven. He had a gaunt face, brown eyes and was wearing a dark jacket and dark blue baggy jeans. He was carrying a large black suitcase.

PC Matt Beighton, who is investigating the incident said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident. Narborough is a busy village with lots of people using the local shops.

“If you were in the area on Tuesday and saw a man matching this description, or anyone acting suspiciously we would ask you to contact us.”
