Police officers from Syston are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged.

The incident happened between 12.30pm and 5.20pm on Tuesday June 9, 2009 when the black Audi A4 was parked on Bruxby Street.

The victim returned to her car to discover that dents and scratches had been made to the driver’s side of the vehicle. It is believed an unknown instrument was used to cause the damage which is estimated at around £2,000 to repair.

PC Kevin Palmer, who is investigating this incident, said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the Bruxby Street or surrounding streets during this time last Tuesday to think back, did you see anyone acting suspiciously or did you witness the incident? If so, please contact the police.”
