Officers in Market Harborough are appealing for witnesses after a shop window in Adam and Eve Street was damaged.

The incident happened between 6pm on Saturday June 13 and yesterday at 6.45pm (Monday June 15) when the damage, at Duncan Murray Wines, was reported to police.

The front window of the shop, near to the door, was smashed. Nothing was stolen as a metal grid behind the window restricted access to the shop.

PC Sarah Lewis, the officer investigating the incident, said: We are hoping that by releasing this information to the public those with information will contact us.

We want anyone who was in the area over the weekend and who saw the incident or saw someone acting suspiciously to call us.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 4713 Sarah Lewis on 0116 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 4713. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous on 0800 555 111.
