Owners of recovered property urged to come forward

A selection of jewellery recovered
Officers in Hinckley need help in identifying the owners of property recovered by police this week.
It includes some distinctive jewellery which would be easily identified by its rightful owners. Among the pieces of jewellery are a number of watches, brooches and rings. One distinctive piece is an oblong pink faced female’s watch.
The property was recovered on Monday 15 June by officers whilst carrying out a warrant at an address in Newbold Verdon. A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
PC Michelle Gray, said: "If property matching this description has been stolen from you, please contact an officer at Hinckley and Bosworth local policing unit as soon as possible.
"We are asking members of the public to contact our team if they think these items belong to them. We will need you to bring some form of documentation proving it is yours, so we can verify that the property in question is going to be returned to its rightful owner. Alternatively, you could bring the crime number you were issued with, by the Police, when your items were stolen."
Anyone with any queries should contact Hinckley local policing unit on (0116) 222 2222 and follow the instructions. When prompted, key in PC Michelle Gray’s identification number 4466 to leave a voicemail.
