Officers are appealing for information following a burglary at a home in Greetham.

The incident happened between 10.30am on Friday June 5, 2009 and 10pm on Friday June 12, 2009 when a house on Shepherds Lane was broken into.

Stolen from the property was a large amount of gold and silver jewellery including several watches, chains, necklaces, rings and earrings.

Part of the jewellery was a distinctive ladies Swiss made Kulm watch which is gold and has a small face.

A safe containing paperwork was also taken which was later recovered nearby.

PC Mario Tabone, who is investigating the incident, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who has any information regarding this incident.

"Perhaps you saw someone at the address between these dates acting suspicious? Or maybe you have been approached by someone selling jewellery at a cheap price? If so, please get in touch."
