Appeal following altercation in Ashby
Police are appealing for witnesses following an altercation on Smisby Road, Ashyb-de-la Zouch.
The incident happened at around 2.30am on Sunday June 14, when the 19-year-old victim and her two friends, were approached by a man and a woman who began to shout at them.
The 19-year-old victim and the woman then became involved in n altercation. One of the friends of the victim and the man also became involved when trying to intervene.
The two women were split up and the man and woman walked into a nearby property.
The woman is described as white, around 5’5” tall, about 40 to 45-years-old with long dark, straight hair. She was wearing a pair of jeans with long black boots that came to her knees.
The man is described as white, around 6ft tall, about 40years old, bald and was clean shaven. He was wearing blue denim jeans and a blue t-shirt.
PC Jed Howett, the officer investigating the incident, said: “We are hoping that by releasing this information to the public key witnesses will contact us and help us with our investigation.
“Can you remember seeing any of those involved during or prior to the incident? Do you know any of those involved? Any information you have, no matter how insignificant it may seem, we want to hear from you.”
