Robbery on Cossington Street

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery on Cossington Street in Leicester.

The incident happened at about 8.45pm on Tuesday May 26th, 2009, when the victim, a 14-year-old boy, was approached by two older teenagers.

The two youths grabbed the victim and threatened him, before stealing his mobile phone and running off across Cossington Park.

The victim wasnt injured.

The first youth is described as white, about 17 to 18-years-old, 59 tall, of large build, with short black spiky hair and distinctive looking eyes. He is also described as having a local accent.

The second youth is described as white, about 17 to 18-years-old, a bit shorter than 59, with black hair and of larger build than the first youth. He was wearing light coloured brown jacket and blue jeans.

DC Denise Pritchard, who is investigating this incident, said: I would urge anybody who witnessed this incident or has any information about who may be responsible to contact me.
