Officers are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision in the parish of Sutton Cheney.

The incident happened at around 6.25pm on Thursday June 25, 2009 on Fenn Lanes around 180 metres east of its junction with Shenton Lane and involved one vehicle, a yellow Suzuki   SV 650 SK1 motorcycle.

The motorcycle left the road and collided with a tree.

The rider was taken to the Walsgrave hospital in Coventry where his condition is described as serious but stable.  

PC Paul Snelling, from the Force’s road policing unit, said: “The motorcycle was travelling in the direction of Fenny Drayton prior to the incident. 

"I would appeal to anyone who was travelling along this route around the time of the collision and remembers witnessing the collision or seeing the vehicle beforehand, to contact us."
