Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a man indecently exposing himself to two teenage girls in the Burns Road area of Loughborough.

The incident happened at about 12.15pm on Wednesday June 24, 2009, when two 14-year-old girls walking along Alan Moss Road in the direction of Burns Road, noticed a man indecently exposing himself.

The man was walking towards the girls from the direction of Epinal Way. He walked past them and the girls ran off.

He is described as white, between 5’ 10” and 6’ tall, in his late 30’s, of medium build and with short light brown, ginger coloured hair. He is described as wearing a pink shirt and beige three-quarter length shorts.  

PC Jason Foster, who is investigating the incident, said: “This incident was distressing for the victims and has left them both quite shaken.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, seen the man in the area at the time or recognises him from the description provided to contact police.

“If you have any information about this incident or have perhaps been approached by a man in similar circumstances, we would urge you to get in touch.”
