Vehicles damaged on Hildyard Road

Officers are appealing for public help after a number of vehicles were damaged.

The incidents happened between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Sunday June 14, 2009 when seven vehicles parked in a car park on Hildyard Road had their tyres slashed.

Sergeant Mark Zanker, from Keyham Lane local policing unit, said: "These crimes have left a great amount of inconvenience to the owners.

If you were in the Hildyard Road area on Sunday June 14, please think back. Did you notice anyone hanging around or paying particular attention to vehicles on the street?

"If you witnessed these incidents or have any information regarding the people responsible, please get in touch.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Sgt 1720 Mark Zanker on Leicester (0116) 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for an officer and when prompted key in his identification number 1720. Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers free* and anonymously on 0800 555 111.
