Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of an attempted burglary in Nottingham Road, Kettleby.

The incident happened at around 9.20pm on Friday July 3, when the victim found two men in a utility room, on the ground floor of her property.

The two men then left the house, empty handed, through a kitchen window.

The pair made off in a gold Peugeot 307, that was parked near to the entrance of the property. The car drove off along Nottingham Road towards Nottingham.

PC Richard Spivey, the officer investigating the incident said: “The victim has been left very shaken after seeing the two men in her home and we are looking for anyone who might have information on the incident to contact us.

“If you were in Kettleby, in the Nottingham Road area at this time and can remember seeing anything suspicious, then we want to speak with you.

“Do you see a gold Peugeot 307 in the area? Do you know those who were in it or where they went?
