Police are appealing for witnesses after two reports of damage to vehicles in Ploughmans Lea, East Goscote.

The first incident happened between 5pm on Thursday June 25 and 9am on June 26, when the victim found his car, a Honda Accord, had been scratched on the bonnet, the back and the left hand side.

The second incident happened between 6pm on Thursday June 25 and 7am on Friday June 26, when the victim found his Renault Master, had also been scratched on the bonnet and the passenger door.

PC Andy Johnson, the officer investigating the incident, said: “The 2 victims have been left angry and upset by what has happened and we are hoping that anyone with information will contact us and help us with our investigation.

“If you can remember seeing anyone in the area on that evening or morning, acting suspiciously then we want to know. It may be that you know who is responsible or have had the same happen to a vehicle you own. Any information could be vital, so please get in touch.”
