Meet the Anglo-Saxons at Charnwood Museum

On Monday 20th July children will have a chance to find out how the Anglo-Saxons lived and died, as part of the Festival of Leicestershire Archaeology.

‘Anglo-Saxon Life’ features costume, games and pottery making, and demonstrations of how the Anglo-Saxons buried their dead. This will be delivered by Leicestershire County Council Heritage Service archaeology staff, who will be on hand to show visitors real Anglo-Saxon objects from Leicestershire.
