The collision occurred at about 8.35am on Tuesday July 14, 2009 at its junction with Nickalus Road and involved a white ERF HGV and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary with life threatening injuries and has since been transferred to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham where his condition is currently described as serious.
