Police are appealing for witnesses after a theft from a van in Measham.

The incident happened sometime between 9pm on Monday July 13 and 7am on Tuesday July 14, 2009 when thieves broke into the back of a white Citroen Dispatch van parked outside an address on Shelley Close.

A nail gun, a cordless power drill and a cordless electric screwdriver were stolen from the van.

PC Gary Gavin, who is investigating the incident, said: “We would like to hear from anybody who saw any suspicious activity in the Shelley Close area between the above times. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.

"Do you know someone who has recently acquired items like these in suspicious circumstances? If so please get in touch."
