Vehicle damaged on Southfield Road
Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle parked outside an address on Southfield Road in Hinckley was damaged.
The incident happened sometime between 6pm on Friday July 24 and 10am on Saturday July 25, 2009 when the rear windscreen wiper of a silver Renault Clio was snapped off.
It is believed that other vehicles parked on the road sustained similar damage between the above times.
PC Kate Cheney, who is investigating the incident, said: “I am keen to speak to the owners of any vehicles damaged in the area who haven’t already contacted the police.
“I would also like to hear from anybody who saw or heard anything suspicious in the Southfield Road area that night.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 4701 Kate Cheney on Leicester (0116) 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 4701. Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous on 0800 555 111.
