Narborough and Littlethorpe beat officer PC Ady Lloyd attended a meeting at Rob John Hall to meet with a youth group to help them gain a richer understanding of the role of the police and the challenges police officers face when serving the local community. The young people examined his presentation, asking questions and taking the opportunity to complete consultation questionnaires.

PC Lloyd said; “These young people are the future of our community, their perspective can help shape the way we police their area and the way engage with other young people.

“We discussed at length how well behaved, polite and sensible the vast majority of young people choose to be.

“It was a pleasure to meet them in person and get to know them a little and hear their views.”

The police are its local partners are currently running a Safer Summer campaign to engage young people in the summer months. For more information on the activities available to all visits the Leicestershire Constabulary website www.leics.police.uk
