Officers are appealing for information after damage was caused a shop in Markfield.

The incident happened between 10.30pm on Sunday July 26 and 1pm yesterday (Monday July 27, 2009) when racist graffiti was sprayed across the window of a takeaway shop on Main Street near to the junction with Neville Drive. 

The graffiti was sprayed in a bronze coloured paint.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or knows anything about the damage caused to contact them.
