Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of two motorcycles from a hotel in Kegworth, nuneaton.

Both bikes were parked in a car park at the hotel, in Packington Hill, during last weekend’s events at Donnington Park.

The first incident happened between 10.30pm on Saturday July 25 and 9am on Sunday July 26, when the victim returned to the car park from Donnington Park to find his motorbike had gone.

The bike is described as a red Triumph Daytona, vehicle registration HW06 EXV.

The second incident happened between 8pm on Sunday July 26 and 8.45am on Monday July 27, when again the victim returned to the car park to find his bike was missing.

The bike is described as a white and silver Suzuki GSXR, vehicle registration HG58 AOE.

PC Paul Anderson, the officer investigating the incidents, said: “Both men are keen to get their bikes back and we are hoping that someone in the area will have witnessed the incidents or have information on their whereabouts.

“We have information that has led us to believe that the Suzuki was taken from the car park at around 12am on Sunday July 26, by three individuals. We want anyone who was in the Packington Hill area at this time to contact us with any information that could help with our investigation.

“As the Moto GP was on at Donnington Park that weekend there would have been an increased number of people in the area and hopefully someone will have seen something.

“We want people to think back, can you remember seeing anyone in the Packington Hill area acting suspiciously that weekend? Have you seen either of the bikes since the incident? Has anyone tried to sell you a bike similar to those taken?

“Any information you have could be vital so please give us a call.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 1921 Paul Anderson on 0116 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officers identification number 1921.
