Police are appealing for witnesses after a car in Mulberry Drive, Leicester was damaged.

Police received a report at around 12.40am, on Sunday August 10, that a vehicle had been moved out of its parking space, and damage had been made to the driver’s side door and car ignition.

The vehicle, a red Vauxhall Corsa, was last saw by the owner, parked and undamaged, at 10.45pm on Mulberry Drive

PC Mari Louise Hughes, the officer investigating the incident, said: “The owners of the vehicle are now going to have to pay to get their car fixed and we are hoping that someone will have information that will lead us to those responsible.

“If you were in the Mulberry Road area last Saturday night and early Sunday morning, then we are appealing to you. Can you remember seeing anyone acting suspiciously in the area? Did you see someone hanging around the vehicle?

“We want any information you have so please call.”
