Man charged in connection with South Wigston assault.

Man charged in connection with South Wigston assault.
A 21-year-old man has this afternoon been charged with attempted murder and breach of bail following a serious assault on Tansley Avenue in South Wigston.
The 42-year-old victim remains in a serious condition in hospital following the assault which happened at around 2am in the early hours of Sunday August 16.
A man arrested at the time has subsequently been charged and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday August 18).
