Theft from motor vehicle in Rutland
Police are appealing for witnesses after a theft from a motor vehicle in Rutland.
The incident happened on Friday, August 21 between 12.15pm and 12.30pm in Sykes Lane, Empingham.
Entry was gained to a parked vehicle, a Toyota Yaris, and property was stolen.
Items taken included a Samsung mobile phone and a shoulder bag containing cash and cards.
A medication called Methocarbamol, a muscle relaxant, was also taken.
PC Paul Anderson, who is investigating the incident said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anyone acting suspiciously.
“The medication is described as dangerous if taken in excess, without medical supervision or by small children and we would urge anyone who finds the medication to hand it in to their nearest pharmacy or the police.”
