Theft of motorbike in Melton area

Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft of a motorbike in the Melton Mowbray area.

The incident happened between 9pm on Monday, August 24 and 7.30am on Tuesday, August 25 when the motorbike was stolen from the driveway of a property in Klondyke Way, Asfordby.

The bike has since been recovered nearby and returned to its owner.

It is described as a red BMW F650 Fonduro

PC Paul Anderson, who is investigating the incident said: We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Klondyke Way between these times and saw anything suspicious. Maybe you saw someone riding off on a motorbike, or being driven around the area.

If you saw anything at all we would ask you to contact us.
