A scooter stolen from a garden on Hodgson Close has been recovered.

The theft happened between 10pm on Tuesday August 4 and 9am on Wednesday August 5, 2009 when the black Free Rider mobility scooter was left in a back garden of a property on Hodgson Close.

The victim, in his sixties, had left the scooter and his gate locked and secure.

The scooter was located in the Bondman Close area of Leicester on Saturday August 22, 2009 and has since been returned to it owner.

PCSO Gillian Edwards, who has appealed for information, said "We are very pleased the scooter has been found and returned to the victim but we are still keen to speak to anyone who may witnessed the theft and would ask anyone with any information to please contact us.”
