A71 year old woman, who has been missing from her home in Burbage since 2pm on Sunday 30th August 2009, has been found safe and well.

Joan Wilkins, who suffers from Alzheimers disease,left her home on Brookside in Burbage at 2 oclock yesterday afternoon to pick blackberries and didn't return home.

Police search teams were out in the area and the police helicopterwas also used in the search.

Mrs Wilkins was found by a member of the public in Burbage on the morning of Monday 31st August 2009.

Inspector Nigel Smith, who led the search, said; We'd like to thank everyone involved in looking for Mrs Wilkins and we are glad that she has been found safe and well."
