7 September 2009Web Developers provide Search Engine Tips for free

Two top local web development companies are running seminars on optimising websites this autumn. The free seminars are open to any small creative companies or freelancers based in Leicestershire or Rutland and are organised by Creative Leicestershire.

Steve Hawkins of Caged Fish will be leading the seminar in Market Harborough focussing on beginners. This event will be ideal if you are commissioning a first or new site for your small business. Nick Light of Studio 40 in Loughborough will be running the seminar in Loughborough looking at tips for small businesses which already have a site and want to get it up the search engine listings.

The question we always get asked is Why cant I find my site on Google. When people commission a site to be built, quite often thought is not given at the outset to the objectives of the site, a little knowledge, being realistic and forward planning can make sure it works as well as possible for you. said Steve Hawkins.

Getting your website found first steps is run by Caged Fish at The Angel Hotel, 37 High St, Market Harborough LE16 7AF on Tues 22 September at 6pm.

10 Top tips for search engine optimisation is run by Studio-40 at Loughborough Town Hall, Market Square, Loughborough LE11 3EB on Thursday 22 October at 6pm.
