Officers have also been carrying out enquiries around the Park Road, Epinal Way shops in Loughborough in case Mr Sanham returns home.

When he was last seen he was wearing grey/blue pyjama bottoms, white trainers and a lightly padded outdoor walking jacket in dark blue.  He is white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, of slim build with receding thin grey hair.

Sergeant Graham Thomson said; “This gentleman was admitted to hospital suffering from confusion and we are therefore concerned for his welfare and are keen to find him as soon as possible.  If anyone sees anyone matching Mr Sanham’s description I would ask them to contact the police immediately.”
