Leicestershire County Council's ruling Tory Group are set to abandon a key environmental commitment to use energy from renewable sources at their Cabinet meeting to be held on the 9th February. They are also abandoning their commitment to use recycled paper. This is despite repeated claims by Central Office that the Conservative Party is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emmisions....
