Residents in Loughborough are being given a chance to discuss local policing priorities with senior police officers and Police Authority members.

A public consultation meeting is being held at John Storer House on Tuesday 1st December 2009 at 7pm.

The meeting will give people living and working in Loughborough a chance to speak to officers about policing in their neighbourhood. It is an opportunity for residents to tell officers what they want from the police and for the police to tell residents about their work in the fight against crime.

Inspector Tim McCabe, Commander of Loughborough Local Policing Unit, said; “Everyone is welcome to come along next Tuesday and tell us what concerns they have about crime in their area.  We want to hear from local people so that we can tell them what we are doing in their neighbourhood to address their concerns.  It is also a chance for residents to help shape the future priorities across the Loughborough Policing area.”

“Barrie Roper from the Police Authority will also be there to hear your views and we would encourage as many people as possible to come along.”

The Police Authority Consultation Meeting is being held at John Storer House on Tuesday 1st December 2009 between 7pm and 9pm.
