Local campaigners have agreed a compromise Option C in the school reorganisation plans outlined by County Hall for Loughborough schools.

Andy Reed MP was able to bring together heads, governors and campaigners to work on a compromise deal that would secure £80m of government cash and keep the best aspects of local outstanding schools.

Andy said:

"In a short time we have brought together a wide range of interests in our own public meetings and then we have sat down and crunched the numbers together in more detail.”

“Clearly we don't have the same resources as County Hall have had for months but we think this is a good deal. I am now urging everybody who has signed my petition and joined the face book groups to back the option C. This could be over 2500 people alone."
