Free tips on marketing an event

Creative Leicestershire are teaming up with local event management company Holland Alexander to run free seminars across the county about how to market an event on a small budget.
‘The seminars are focussed on people running cultural events – performances or exhibitions – but could be relevant to any other events open to the public’ said Clare Hudson, Creative Industries Manager. The events are free and will include free handouts and checklists for effectively marketing your events. The event will cover tips on planning, media coverage, internet listings, using social media, print & distribution and keeping in touch with your audience or clients.
The seminars take place on:
- Thursday 4 February 6pm – 8pm at the Lys Room, Royal Hotel, Station Rd, Ashby de la Zouch, Leics LE65 2GP
- Wednesday 10 February 6pm – 8pm at The Samworth Centre at St Mary's, 8 Burton Street, Melton Mowbray LE13 1AE
- Thursday 4 March 6pm – 8pm at Countesthorpe Village Hall, Station Rd, Countesthorpe, Leics LE8 5TB.
