Background information:

Snibston is the home of the Century Theatre which is the largest item in Leicestershire County Council’s museum collections. Built between 1948 and 1952, it was used as a travelling theatre until 1974. Its innovative structure provides an auditorium for 200 people and a full-size stage, yet it can still be packed away into four articulated lorry trailers!
