Rainbows Children’s Hospice will have volunteers educating and promoting their lottery to the shoppers and emphasizing the importance of it in Asda, Oadby on Saturday 10th May 2008 from 10am until 4pm. Rainbows Children’s Hospice Lottery is the only continual form of income the hospice receives and so increasing membership is crucial.

The Lottery, which costs £1 a week to play, gives players the chance to win a weekly jackpot of £1,000 as well as other cash prizes. Once players sign up, they are allocated a unique 5-digit number, which remains theirs for as long as they wish to keep playing. Every Friday, the lucky winners are selected at random with prize cheques automatically issued, so there is no need to claim.

Jaspreet Dosanjh, Lottery Sales Executive for Rainbows says “The local community play a very important role in helping raise funds for the hospice and by educating the public about the lottery is vital as if you don’t know about it, you can’t join it!!”

For more information on how to play the Rainbows Lottery, call the Lottery Hotline on 0870 3300219 or visit www.rainbows.co.uk.
