5 Easy Ways to Get in Exercise For Weight LossBy Marilyn Roberts

Any good weight loss program will entail eating right and exercising. Often, we don't have any problem with the 'eating right' part, however we do have problems with the exercise part. Many of us just don't have the time to get to the gym.

Some of us feel that we are allergic to exercise, because anything that makes you sweat, turn red in the face, and have difficulty breathing cannot possibly be good for you - correct? Wrong. Here are five easy ways to get in exercise for weight loss - even if you think you are allergic to it.

- Realize that exercise comes in many, many forms. Exercise is about getting your body in motion, which burns calories. You burn calories simply by being alive. You burn more when you get off the couch and wash dishes. You burn even more when you walk at a quick pace. Get yourself in motion, and move as much as possible throughout the day doing your daily tasks.

- Don't ride if you can walk. Don't walk if you can trot or run. Don't take the lift if there are stairs. Don't sit if you can stand. Go back to the 'stay in motion' rule, and just make simple changes to the way that you go about your day.

- If your job requires you to sit for long stretches of time, make it a point to get up and move for fifteen minutes every two hours, if possible. Do a few stretches. Walk around your office. March in place. Just move for a solid fifteen minutes. During an eight hour day, this results in two hours of motion. Find ways and reasons to move.

- Put thefun back into exercise. As stated, exercise comes in many forms. Do something physical that you enjoy. Go bowling, play tennis, put on a pair of roller skates, go for a hike or a bike ride, play a sport. It's all exercise. Often, if we can't make time for something that we call exercise, we can make time for those physical activities that we enjoy.

- Distract yourself. Face it - exercise is boring for most of us. If this is you, and you have a busy life, add exercise to other activities that you do. For example, if you have to read reports for work, do it while riding a stationary bike or walking on the treadmill. Read a good book while doing these things. Get an ipod and listen to a podcast while walking or running. Just do the things that you always do - however do it in motion.

Exercise doesn't have to be tedious or complicated. It's just a question of moving your body to burn off calories. Yes, you will eventually need to focus on specific exercises to tone and shape your body, however if you just need to burn off calories for your weight loss program - all you have to do is move!

You Must Add Exercise For Rapid Weight Loss!By Gail M. Davis

If you're under a time constraint to slim down then you must exercise for rapid weight loss. There's really no way around it. To lose even one pound in a week, you must reduce your calories by 3500! That would be 500 fewer calories a day that you consume.

Most people looking for quick weight loss won't be satisfied with a one-pound drop in a week, which means that your caloric reduction would have to be much more drastic. Significantly cutting your calories will make your metabolism slow down and become sluggish. This action further slows your weight loss.

You simply must add exercise for rapid weight loss. If you decrease your caloric consumption by 500 and burn an additional 500 calories a day through activity, your weight loss total just reached two pounds a week. If that isn't enough to satisfy you, then you'll have to be even more active. It's a fairly simple formula that all goes back to calories in versus calories out.

One important thing to keep in mind is that your body is an efficient fuel-burning machine. Everything you do from sitting in front of the television to cutting your grass burns calories. So to increase the number of calories you burn each day, you don't have to exercise for hours. Instead, just look for ways to be more active.

There are many ways to easily increase your activity during the day. Walk your dog twice a day, orborrow the neighbor's dog. Park further away from your destination. Make frequent trips up and down stairs. Take a short walk with the family after dinner. Play basketball with your kids. Pick weeds. Rake leaves. Wash your car. Every activity will burn more calories.

When you lose weight quickly, you tend to lose lean muscle mass. By adding exercise for rapid weight loss, you'll help ensure that you retain lean muscle and encourage the loss of fat or adipose tissue instead. Your workout routine, if done regularly and with intensity, will also help tone your body and prevent excessively loose skin.

So if rapid weight loss is your goal, then add exercise to your daily routine. You'll be surprised to discover the many wonderful benefits of working out, including an increase in energy and a decrease in stress.

Gail M. Davis offers easy ways to add exercise to your daily routine and successfully lose weight. You'll find practical tips on motivation along with weight loss tips and more throughout her site.

What is the Best Fat Loss Exercise?By Julie Willis

Everyone knows that combining exercise with diet is a very important part to losing weight. Most everyone is also confused over what type of exercise is the greatest fat or adipose tissue loss exercise. To get the greatest results you need to know what is the greatest exercise for fat or adipose tissue loss.

Many experts will tell you that cardio or aerobic exercise is the greatest type of exercise. So you listen and you jump on the treadmill. You jog away for 30 - 60 minutes and you lose a small weight. Then all of a sudden the weight stops coming off. Why did you reach this plateau? Because your body adjusts quickly to these low to moderate impact exercises.

Once your body adapts to aerobic exercise it gets harder for you to burn calories. The calories you do burn during the typical cardio workout are quickly replaced when you drink a Gatorade. This means that all of that time and effort you spent working out were a waste. So how do you break over that plateau and get back to losing fat?
