You're about to find out the greatest home exercises ever. I've been exercising for what seems like an eternity and have learned a few things that I would like to pass on to you. Did you know you don't have to go to a fitness center to get great results? You can exercise right at home which will save you gas, time and money. Furthermore, with gas prices getting higher by the day, those are some pretty good incentives, don't you think?

There's also the weather factor, extreme heat, cold, snow, storms and hazardous driving conditions to name a few. Who wants to deal with this? When you can stay safe and be in the comfort of home. These thoughts would come to me as I looked out my window on many occasions and pondered risking the drive. Do I or don't I? Since my health is very important to me many times I took a odds and went anyway, against my better judgment. Thankfully, I've never had an accident.

Then one day I was online and saw an exercise or workout video that got me to thinking about exercise at home. So I began to look for the greatest home exercises and what I needed to purchase to make it a reality. While searching I had a light bulb moment. Why not do what I already know? After all, whymake it difficult?

As a result I went out and bought Power Block (adjustable dumbbells), a weight bench, a stationary bike, an exercise or workout mat, and one of those big exercise balls. I didn't buy them all at once, however a small at a time. These are the things I use most at the gym. Now, when I don't have time or weather is bad or whatever comes up, I can do home exercises.

You can't beat the combination; you have weights (Power Block) and a weight bench for toning muscle. Then you have the bike for your cardio and an exercise or workout mat or your big ball for abs. You can also use your big ball for many other types of exercise, it's great. These are the greatest home exercises you can do for a complete workout. Now that you know what to do you can save gas, time and money, just like I do.

It's hard sometimes to decide which exercises are the greatest home exercises for you. Not everyone is alike so it becomes a personal decision and there are other factors that come into play. For example, making sure you have enough space for your exercises and the equipment you'll need. It would be ideal to have a special room for this, however if you can't then you will need a room where you either have extra space or you can move things around easily. This way you won't be as likely to dread the set up and tear down of whatever equipment needed to accomplish your workout.

I try to keep it simple and have all my equipment together; ready to go, so that I can get more accomplished in a shorter amount of time. I do this same thing when I go to the gym, I gather my weights and whatever I need and keep it within reach. If everything is scattered you tend to lose focus when you have to step away from the routine to get something that's missing, then you could possibly forget what exercise was next, or worse yet, forget what you've done.

Another thing you need to do is research. I'm always on the hunt for new techniques and programs that will show me something I don't know. Most people do the same routine for years this is why you can see a person who works out faithfully at home or in the gym and never see an improvement. Their body has adjusted to what they do and does not respond anymore. The greatest home exercises are the ones that challenge you.

That'sright I said 'challenge'. Not, I'm in my comfort zone routine and know what I'm going to do. I'm sorry, however this will not give you optimal results. On the other hand, if you want to change your body and get in the greatest shape of your life, you will make your workout is a challenge. This means changing the routine and making an effort to find the greatest home exercises that really work.

Since I like to workout at home some days and the gym other days I tend to look for exercises that I can do both places. I call them greatest gym and greatest home exercises. So when you're checking out a program, ask yourself, is this good for both? And if it is, go for it, challenge your body, do something different. Then you will experience the results you want to achieve from a workout that's greatest for you.

Let me tell you how I save money from gas and other incidental expenses I usually incur in going to and from the gym where I once do my daily exercise. I said once because I quit the gym and now, I am doing my daily exercise workout right here in my house. To be honest with it, the monthly savings that I was able to make runs to nearly a hundred dollars. What with the soaring cost of petrol and the high cost of gym membership plus miscellaneous expenses that I usually incur like snacks and other gym services.

Aside from my savings, the fact that I am doing my exercise in my house in place of the gym would be an added advantage for me in terms of comfort, safety and the means that I can easily log on to my online computer to check on my online business. The many advantages that resulted from my quitting gym workouts and doing it right in my house was the result of a TV ads that I saw several weeks ago. The TV ad dealt about the many advantages and benefits of an exercise or workout ball. It took my attention because during that time, I was concentrating on my abs, and the advertisement showed how effective and easy it is to exercise using the ball.
