Effective Exercise - Pushing Your Body's LimitsBy Janet Wilco

Anyone interested in exercise and losing weight and is fully motivated knows that the journey ahead of them is long and hard however if they're sincerely devoted to it, the journey will be over much sooner than for others who will give up because it's just simply too much work for them. Combined with a proper and balanced weight loss diet, a great exercise routine can be a brutal blow to the fat or adipose tissue in your body as long as your consistent with your work outs and not adding more fat or adipose tissue to your body by sticking to your weight loss diet.

One of the most effective arm and upper body exercises I have ever done is called the butterfly flex. In this exercise, you simply hold both hands out to your sides so your arms are straight, then you arch both arms pulling your hands up and touching your shoulders. Then, you cross your hands touching the opposite shoulder and cross back over touching the original shoulders your hands were touching and then straighten your arms out again. This is one full rep of a butterfly flex and is a very effective arm work out.

If you effectively balance your weight loss diet with a good workout, you will be on your way to fit and healthy in no time and even if you are already fit and healthy, itnever hurts to maintain the healthy and fit lifestyle you live for a longer life.

Your body has it's limits and you have to know what they are and you have to go past them. You might be exhausted and feel like you can't go on anymore however if you keep responding to your body every time this happens you'll see small to no results all the time and all the time you spend will be practically wasted.

So know your body's limits however don't obey them and push for your personal goals and don't stop until you achieve them.

Exercise - Working Out Versus Pumping Iron By Janet Wilco

It's common that a lot of weight loss programs will suggest some form of exercise and I have seen people who try to lift weights as a form of losing weight. It's common that a lot of weight loss programs will suggest some form of exercise and I have seen people who try to lift weights as a form of losing weight.

In a weight loss program, it may be recommended that you walk up and down your street a few times a day and this is a form of exercise. While curling a 20 pound dumb bell is a form of pumping iron or lifting weights. So which one is better for people trying to stay in shape?

There's not a definitive clear answer to this question as it's different based on different needs. People who exercise are trying to lose weight as people who lift weights are trying to build muscle and don't want to lose mass. When it comes down to it, I believe exercise and a well planned weight loss diet is the greatest way to lose weight.

While lifting weights may have its uses which is mainly to give your muscles more appeal, exercise burns a lot more calories and works more muscles and will build your energy and motivate you the more you do it. This is what is recommendedfor people wanting to lose weight quickly because exercise works just about all of your muscles and encourages you to move around and get up off of the couch and in most cases out of the house, because a breath of fresh air never hurt.

So if you're trying to get in shape and stay fit then I would refer you to exercise over lifting weights because there's more activity going on, you're moving around a lot more which is also burning more calories and in the long run helping you out more.

Let me start by saying that there's no one specific greatest weight loss workout. You can select a large number of variations which can help you get excellent results. An effective workout for weight loss doesn't have to be long. In fact, if you spend more than an hour at the gym, you may even be hurting the process rather than helping it along. The greatest workout for fat or adipose tissue loss will consist of 2 segments: full body weight training and cardio training.
