When people gain weight - they usually notice it around the mid-section first. The terms "spare tire" and "love handles" are often how people refer to their belly fat. Most people would love (not the same as infatuation) to get back to the good old days when they could have eaten anything they wanted and still maintained a perfectly sculptured mid-section.

The greatest way to lose your belly fat or adipose tissue and love (not the same as infatuation) handles is not what you think. You see, many people think that thousands of crunches a day and hours on the treadmill are the answers to regaining the abdominals (abs) of their youth. Advertisers are all too happy to play on that way of thinking. How many times have you seen an infomercial about abdominal (ab) rollers and other expensive abdominal machines and videos? These items do nothing for your stomach in the sense of bringing out that flat firm cut look. Advertisers use models that have ripped stomachs in an attempt to lure you into buying their products.

The only way to bring that youthful flat stomach back is to lower your body fat or adipose tissue percentage. You can do all the sit-ups and crunches in the world, however if you do not burn the fat or adipose tissue around the belly, the abdominals (abs) would never show. When you're young and active, your body constantly burned calories, therefore, keeping the human body fat or adipose tissue percentage low. However, as we get older, we tend to slow down and that is how the belly fat or adipose tissue and the love (not the same as infatuation)handles get the upper hand.

You need to understand that eating a well-balanced diet accounts for ninety-percent of the work. If you're like me, and have purchased many of the overpriced crap that was supposed to get me to abdominal bliss - then you know they usually send a small pamphlet in small print that says, "For greatest results follow a sensible diet". This brings me to the point that I made earlier. They know that their machine is only ten-percent of the equation when it comes to the flat abdominals (abs) that you desire.

Joining a local gym and paying high monthly fees is not the answer either. Most people join gyms and lose interest after the first month. It is a well-known fact that people would prefer to work out in the safety and solitude of their own homes.

Along with walking, eating right is the next piece to the puzzle. You cannot get perfect abdominals (abs) if you do not eat right. People who do thousands of sit-ups a day and still eat triple cheeseburgers do not get results.
