I had always had a problem with a larger stomach however was never concerned with exercising while I was younger. Most men call it a "beer belly" and to be honest that was probably how it all started.
By the time I had reached my early thirties the jibes from my friends were really starting to bother me to the point when I finally said to myself "enough was enough". I was going to do something about getting the flat stomach of my dreams!
Like many people, I found that sitting down each evening and doing exercises didn't work for me as I just couldn't get motivated enough to keep it up.
I was telling a friend of mine about my motivational problems in the pub one evening. He said he had just the solution that I was looking for and the very next day he dropped round to my house with two exercise videos, both aimed at getting a flat stomach with relative ease.
Before I started I had a preconceived notion that the exercise videos would not work for me. However, I was very wrong. Once I started to watch the videos, I became really motivated by the exercises and as a result I quickly began to see a difference to the flatness of my stomach.
My ego was given an extra boost as friends and family started to comment on my new, flatter profile. This served to motivate me further and really sent me into overdrive with the videos and now I practically have a whole library of them!

If, like many people, you work for a living five days a week, sometimes the fastest way to a flat stomach can be exercising while you are at work. Believe it or not, there are some very simple exercises that you can do to keep in shape and get a flat stomach whilst you are sitting at your desk.
(1) Leg lifts
To break the boredom of eight hours in the office, try some leg lifts as a form of exercise. To prepare for this exercise you will need to push away from the desk slightly to give yourself some room. Next, sit back in your chair and grasp hold on the chair handle. To begin the exercise, bring both of your legs together and then raise them until they reach your waist. Hold for a few moments and then release. Repeat the exercise as often as you can. For your information this routine is particularly good for your transverses abdominal muscles.
(2) Lunchtime
Whatever you do, make sure you leave your desk at lunchtime and get out for a walk. This is essential if you want to get some of that stomach fat or adipose tissue off!
